Direct Bathrooms Limited was founded in 1992 by, father and son team, Alan and Andrew Judge. Alan, the father, had gained 25 years experience in the bathroom industry at N W Skinner & Sons of Enfield whilst Andrew had worked in the industry since leaving school 7 years earlier.
Their philosophy, which was quite unique at the time, was that rather than operating with a high street shop they would work from a unit on a business park which would give them opportunity to show more displays as well as providing ample parking and easy collection for their customers. After 5 years of trading, a subsidiary company was formed supplying tiles, which were shipped direct from Spain, Portugal and Italy.
Direct Tiles Limited has gone from strength to strength supplying trade and public as well as many well known architectural buildings in and around London and the South East including the Millennium Dome. The business has flourished and expanded in January 2007, when a second branch was opened in Takeley, Essex, the standard of which has surpassed even their greatest expectations.
